THE LAB

HausWare Labs

HausWare Labs is the audio software arm of Prompt Haus LLC. Two things live under it: a studio that builds and owns its own audio software, and an accelerator that turns other people's working tools into products.

The order matters. We build our own products first, because asking a developer to trust us with their work before we have finished anything of our own would be asking for something we had not earned.

THE PRODUCTS

What the studio has built

Prompt Genius.

Our flagship. An AI music prompt and creative-direction product line, developed in-house by our CTO, Aaron Neal, and nearing release. It is the product this studio is built around, and it sets the standard everything else here is measured against.

Haus Vintage Converter and HVC Studio.

Software that prepares modern audio for vintage hardware samplers. Built, tested, running, with a double-click launcher and no terminal required. On 16 July 2026, a kit generated by HVC in a native MPC4000 program format loaded on a physical MPC4000 and every pad played.

Published documentation for these 1990s formats is partial and in places wrong. The only honest way to claim compatibility is to save files from the machine itself, compare them byte by byte, rebuild the format from that evidence, and then put the result back on the hardware and press the pad. That is what happened. It is slower than reading a spec sheet and it is the difference between a claim and a fact.

THE PEOPLE

Four

Gerald "The Sound" Keys, Founder and CEO

Producer and audio engineer. Chief of Production for Ludacris. Chief of Arts and Music for the Ludacris Foundation. Lead producer on Netflix's Karma's World. He runs intake and he runs the relationship. He is not a coder and does not pretend to be. What he brings is the judgment about whether a problem is real, which comes from having had it on records with deadlines.

Aaron Neal, CTO

Technology, infrastructure, and product engineering. Aaron built Prompt Genius end to end. He owns the build pipeline: cross-platform builds, code signing and notarization, the licensing system, test infrastructure, and the technical review of every submission. He is the one who runs your code on a clean machine and tells you honestly how far it is from shippable.

Simone Solomon, legal counsel

Corporate structure, intellectual property, contracts, and marketplace agreements. Every developer agreement is drafted and reviewed by Simone. The reason we can be direct about ownership is that a lawyer built the structure, not a founder with good intentions.

April Nova Jordan, architect

Institutional strategy, program and systems architecture, execution frameworks. April designed the review process itself: the stages, the gates, and what has to be true before anything advances. The reason we can tell you how long each step takes is that somebody's job was to design the steps.

THE STANDARDS

Four rules we do not move on

We verify on hardware before we claim hardware.

No compatibility claim ships without a load test on the actual machine. This applies to our products and to yours.

We do not use protected brand names as product names.

Descriptive, factual compatibility statements only. This is not caution, it is the difference between a business and a letter from someone's lawyer.

We do not ship anything whose provenance we cannot account for.

Every dependency, every bundled binary, every model weight, checked and documented before launch.

We do not label something done because it compiles.

Every product passes a written quality gate before it is called finished. If it does not pass, it waits, however inconvenient that is.

HOW WE WORK

The production line

HausWare runs a written, ten-part internal engineering discipline covering project scaffolding, stack selection, sampler format research, JUCE and VST3 plugin construction, DSP, testing and verification, release packaging, and a final quality gate. It exists on paper, it has been run on our own products, and it is what a submission moves through rather than a bespoke process invented each time.

WHAT WE ARE NOT CLAIMING

No revenue. No customers. No signed developer. The marketplace is not live. You would be early, and early has a cost as well as a benefit. We would rather you weigh both accurately.
