HAUSWARE LABS
You built the tool. The rest is our job.
HausWare Labs turns working audio tools into products that install cleanly, license properly, sell, and get supported for years. You keep your intellectual property. You keep your name on it. We handle the part that was never music.
No fee to submit. A real answer within five business days.
THE PART NOBODY WARNS YOU ABOUT
It works on your machine. That was the easy half.
You solved a real problem in a weekend with Claude Code or Codex. It works. Someone asked for a copy and could not run it. And then you looked at what selling it actually takes: a developer membership, a signing certificate on a hardware token, notarization, an installer, a license key system, a merchant of record, a refund policy, a manual, a support inbox, and a plan for the weekend an OS update breaks everything.
None of that is music. All of it is a full-time job with its own decade of accumulated knowledge, and nobody handed you that decade.
That is the gap HausWare Labs stands in.
THE WORK
Thirteen things between your folder and a customer
01
Hardening
It stops crashing when someone feeds it the wrong file, an empty folder, or a filename with an emoji in it.
02
Cross-platform builds
It genuinely runs on machines that are not yours, across both platforms and both Mac architectures.
03
Signing and notarization
It installs without the operating system warning that it might be malware, which quietly kills more indie software than bad code does.
04
Installers
A producer double-clicks it, and can remove it cleanly when they want to.
05
Licensing
Keys are generated at purchase, delivered automatically, and still work after a customer wipes their machine.
06
QA
Real producers on real machines, on the actual hardware where hardware matters, plus an automated regression suite.
07
Documentation
A manual written in producer language, and a first run good enough that most people never open it.
08
Store listing
The page, the positioning, the demo assets, the video.
09
Payment and tax
We take the money through a merchant of record, so worldwide sales tax is never your legal problem.
10
Support
We answer the emails, including the ones at 2am, and we absorb the refunds.
11
Updates
When the next OS release breaks it, we fix it and reship, for as long as it is on sale.
12
Marketing
It goes in front of the audience and the industry relationships that already exist here.
13
The legal wrapper
EULA, trademark clearance on the name, and a written provenance check on every dependency and every model weight.
Count how many of those you want to spend six months on. That number is why this exists.
EVIDENCE, NOT PROMISES
We ship our own software first.
Prompt Genius, our flagship.
An AI music prompt and creative-direction product line, developed in-house by our CTO, Aaron Neal, and nearing release. It is the product this studio is built around and the standard everything on the roster gets measured against.
Haus Vintage Converter, hardware verified.
HVC and HVC Studio prepare modern audio for vintage hardware samplers. On 16 July 2026, a kit generated by HVC in a native MPC4000 program format loaded on Gerald's own MPC4000, and every pad played.
That last sentence is the whole point. Published documentation for these 1990s formats is partial and in places wrong, so the only honest way to claim compatibility is to put the file on the machine and press the pad. Most people ship after reading the spec sheet. We do not, and we will hold your product to the same standard we held our own.
HausWare Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Akai Professional, inMusic Brands, or Ensoniq. Product names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here descriptively, to state a compatibility we have tested.

OWNERSHIP
You keep your IP. That is the structure, not a courtesy.
We take a license to distribute your product. We do not take possession of it. If it were the other way round, this would be an acquisition, and we would call it one.
Your name stays on the product. You keep the method and everything you learned building it. You approve the build, the page, the copy, and the price before anything goes public. Every agreement has a term and a performance floor, so if we do not deliver what we said we would, the rights come back to you.
THE LAB
Four people, and you can find all of us.
Gerald "The Sound" Keys, Founder and CEO
Producer and audio engineer. Chief of Production for Ludacris. Chief of Arts and Music for the Ludacris Foundation. Lead producer on Netflix's Karma's World.
Aaron Neal, CTO
Technology, infrastructure, and product engineering. Built Prompt Genius end to end. Owns every build, every signature, every test.
Simone Solomon, legal counsel
Corporate structure, intellectual property, contracts, and marketplace agreements. Every developer agreement is papered by counsel.
April Nova Jordan, architect
Institutional strategy, program and systems architecture, execution frameworks. Designed the review process you are about to enter.
WHAT WE ARE NOT CLAIMING
No revenue. No customers. No signed developer yet.
You would be early. We would rather you know the real shape of this than imagine a bigger one. What we can show you is a finished product, a passing test suite, and a file that loaded on real hardware. What we cannot show you is traction, because there is not any yet.
If you need a partner with a hundred shipped titles, wait. If what you need is a small group that has taken something from a folder on a drive to a verified load on physical hardware, that part we can prove today.
The HausWare store opens after the roster does. Developers first, catalog second. That order is deliberate.
Two doors.
